This turn-of-the-century, wood-frame, 3-story home (with one side of the basement above ground) is simply stupendous. It is incredibly picturesque throughout the house with wonderfully crafted woodwork (flooring, stairs, fireplace mantels, & ceilings). There are custom-designed fireplaces in almost all bedrooms.
The first floor is the main living area and includes a hall entry with a ½ bath and laundry. This leads to a large den with oak flooring and oak window seats at the bottom of a nicely crafted oak stairwell to the second floor. This center-hall den has a customized terra cotta fireplace that is very pleasing to the eye. Next to the den is a formal dining room with an ornate wood ceiling and oak flooring. This room also enjoys a tiled fireplace with an oak mantel. Just off the dining room is a customized, center isle, eat-in kitchen with oak floors. The dinette is at the lake side of the house with great lake views. Between the kitchen and the den is a lakeside living room with more oak flooring and a brick fireplace. There is a covered porch wrapped around the front and side of the house. There is a study off the den with bookshelves.
The second floor has 5 bedrooms. There are two full bathrooms, two Ύ bathrooms and four fireplaces. Each fireplace is unique and very attractive.
The third floor has 3 more bedrooms and a den. The den is currently used for sleeping and workout equipment. There are 3 more fireplaces, again very unique and attractive, and two Ύ bathrooms.
The basement is used for utility, storage and in the above-ground side, there is a wet bar room with stamped cement flooring and a nice view of the Lake. Just outside this room and below the porch is storage areas and a lakeside patio.
A nice lawn gently sloped to an extra long, U-shaped, covered, cribbed dock parallel to the lot. Next to a dock is an enclosed storage building with a hot tub inside.
Taxes are $22,000/yr.
