This lovely 1920s carriage house was completely re-done in 1997. There is currently a new kitchen being put in to complete the renovation for full living accommodations on Lake George. This is a guest house to a main house on the north side of the property. The 2 homes enjoy 156 feet of shoreline.
The interior is cedar with a lakeside sliding glass door to a wrap-around deck. This home enjoys lovely lake views including Prison Island. The first floor has an open design with a sitting area, new kitchen and 3/4 bath. The second floor has another sitting area (that could also be used for sleeping) and a bedroom overlooking the Lake. There is a couch on the first floor which has a roll-out bed. The house is insulated and has electric heat, but no air conditioning.
There is a 70-ft. dock with a slip for this house on the south side. It can hold up to a 24-ft. boat. The draft is approximately 5 feet at the end of the dock. There is parking in the driveway with additional space across the road.
