Lonnie was raised at
Hulett's Landing on the northeast end of Lake George until
she was 5 years old. Her grandfather, Arthur Wyatt, owned
the resort "Hulett's Landing" and had made one of the two
hotels he owned into a year round home. Lonnie lived there
every summer thereafter until she was 18 years old. To
afford college, she moved to Lake George Village and found
many jobs during the summer months over a 6-year period.
Lonnie started out a math major and ended up obtaining a
degree in speech pathology, audiology & psychology. Not
being able to find a job in her field Lonnie was offered a
position selling real estate for one of the two agencies in
the Town of Lake George. That was 30 years ago.
Since she was raised on Lake George and worked her way
through college on Lake George, it was natural for Lonnie to
specialize in selling property on and around this
magnificent body of water. She said, It has been a
wonderful experience finding the right properties for
people. My philosophy is to educate both the buyer and the
seller before starting each process (finding the perfect
property or selling the property at the best price).
Lonnie has made many wonderful friends over the years by
becoming close to those she has done business with. She
became a member of the Lake George Club 25 years ago so she
could take clients there for dinner. Now when she goes
there, many of her fellow members are people she sold
property to or for.
Lonnie specialize in selling lakefront, lake access, and
lake view properties and is quoted as saying, I am proud to
be a part of this area and I still tingle when I get out
onto the pristine waters of Lake George.
