Richard Berke has been the
owner and President of Robert W. Leavitt, Inc. since 1976.
After graduating from Colgate University and obtaining an
MBA from Boston College, Dick returned to his home area to
direct the marketing effort of the first APA-approved
condominium project on Lake George. While selling Lake
George properties, Dick taught both salesperson’s and
broker’s qualifying courses at Adirondack Community College
and has been active in the community serving as President of
the Glens Falls Board of Realtors and Lake George Rotary
Club. In 1980 and 1981 he was chosen as the board’s realtor
of the year. Dick also was appointed to First National
Bank’s advisory board and has served on many state real
estate and community committees. His broad experience in
marketing, selling and appraising some of Lake George’s
finest residential and commercial properties serves today’s
sellers and buyers to the maximum.
